Suitable for foreman, estimator, engineering and any body who are interested in pipeline work. The author used his extensive experience to explain pipe work, estimation bid, and plant productivity, earth moving equipment and pipeline construction procedures. it is really great source.

2007-03-17 - Good Book
I suppose that some of my trade secrets are no longer "secrets", as I stumbled across them while reading Pipe and Excavation Contracting. It's a good book - I have no complaints.
2007-01-12 - Engineer, New Contractor
The book was OK, but it's very basic. Too much of the book had elementary chapters and too little meat I think. If you never did any underground work this book is good...for those that have there's probally a better one out there..I haven't found it so I'm not sure. The book had mostly on how to operate a backhoe, how to dig around utilities and stuff. I was looking for surveying hints..there were some but not much. I probally should have looked for a surveying book..but that would make too much sense.
